Graduated from North Tahoe, Tahoe City, California in 1983; spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corps, after leaving the Marines worked for the Wilmington Police Department.

As a former City of Wilmington Police Officer, I, Ted J. Besen,  PC, having made hundreds of traffic stops and written hundreds of traffic citations. I have also made hundreds of felony and misdemeanor arrests including drugs, assaults, resisting public officer, larcenies, and shoplifting.

Graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1999; graduated from the Appalachian School of Law in 2002; opened own office in April 2005. Areas of Practice include criminal law and personal injury law.

Mr. Gross graduated from Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores, Michigan in 1992.  After serving in both the Air and Army National Guard, Mr. Gross became a Rocky Mount N.C. Police Officer in 1998. 

Mr. Gross performed all aspects of law enforcement including writing traffic citations, D.W.I.’s, assaults, domestic violence investigations, murder and rape investigations, and narcotics violations.  Mr. Gross was an integral member of a drug team that performed street-level vice enforcement as well as State and Federal narcotics investigations.  Mr. Gross puts his extensive law enforcement experience to use every day in the defense of his clients.

Mr. Gross graduated summa cum laude from Mount Olive College in Mount Olive N.C. with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.  Mr. Gross attended the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill.  Mr. Gross practices Criminal Defense and Family law.
